Back to school starts early for us as we help school districts — like Plano, Frisco, Garland, Fort Worth and others — provision technology devices for their students. We have noticed several school districts are choosing to purchase tablets, Chromebooks, laptops and desktops. Like other computer devices, Chromebooks require “white glove services,” which include warehousing, asset tagging, setting up Google accounts and delivering for students to use in school. We’ve seen a surge in back to school work this summer, due to greater availability of funds, more demand for technology to prepare students for the future or increasing IT outsourcing. Premier also has seen growth with expansion to deliver such services in several states.

Our staff has “gone back to school,” too, so to speak — they are taking classes to improve their skills and industry knowledge, thanks to our partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and Cedar Valley College.
